Low smoke halogen-free graft compatibilizer
MY-200GL is a method of grafting maleic anhydride molecules onto linear low-density polyethylene molecular chains through chemical reactions, giving the polyethylene end the reactivity and strong polarity of maleic anhydride polar molecules. Therefore, it can improve the interfacial affinity between polyolefin substrates and inorganic substances such as metal powder, glass fiber, wood powder, mineral powder, starch, etc., thereby enhancing the strength of composite materials. It is often used as a compatibilizer for polyolefin materials. When this product is used for low smoke halogen-free flame-retardant cable materials, it can improve the compatibility and adhesion between polyolefin matrix and inorganic flame retardant interface. Improve the dispersibility and compatibility of magnesium hydroxide and aluminum hydroxide, thereby maximizing the flame retardancy of cable materials, reducing smoke index, smoke generation, heat generation, and carbon monoxide production, enhancing oxygen index, improving dripping performance, and improving the mechanical properties of materials. This product can also be used as a surface improver for extruded sheets or sheets, which can effectively improve the surface flatness of sheets or sheets, eliminate material surface roughness and pitting.
The reaction principle of LLDPE grafted with maleic anhydride and glass fiber:
After surface coupling agent treatment, glass fibers carry active amino groups on the surface. When the maleic anhydride group encounters the amino molecule, the maleic anhydride cyclic molecular chain breaks and connects to the amino molecule, generating water molecules. This reaction links the molecular chains of maleic anhydride with glass fibers, thus playing a compatible role.
Scope of application
1. Can be used as a low smoke halogen-free flame retardant cable material compatibilizer;
2. It can be used as a surface improver for extruded sheets/boards, effectively improving the surface smoothness of materials, eliminating surface irregularities and pitting;
3. It can be used as a compatibilizer for polyethylene and glass fibers, promoting their compatibility;
4. Can be used as a compatibilizer for PE based masterbatch, such as color masterbatch, flame retardant masterbatch, functional masterbatch, etc;
5. Can be used as a modifier to extend the anti fog period of anti fog film.
